We are pleased to announce that ACA Technology's Cristina Ghimusian and Ujjwala Jain have been shortlisted for WatersTechnology's inaugural Women in Technology and Data Awards. The awards recognize, promote, and celebrate the contribution that women make across the capital markets, specifically in the data and technology industries. The awards will be handed out in a ceremony in London on March 9, 2018. The full list of categories and shortlisted nominees can be found here.
Cristina Ghimusian, Senior Consultant, has been shortlisted for Engineer/Programmer of the Year. Cristina joined ACA Technology in January 2016 and has over 20 years of experience developing software in the financial industry for both buy and sell-side firms, including Goldman Sachs, ABN-AMRO, and RBS. She holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from New York University.
Christina is currently the technical product manager of ACA’s Regulatory Reporting (“ACA RR”) platform, which automates the creation and submission of regulatory reports required by various financial regulators. ACA RR is used by a large number of ACA’s clients, either directly or via ACA’s servicing model. In her role, Cristina is responsible for ensuring that all regulatory filing updates are properly designed, developed, and deployed in time for our clients to meet their regulatory reporting obligations. Cristina is responsible for ensuring that her designs and implementations incorporate all the best practices of an enterprise-level system.
Ujjwala Jain, Project Manager, has been shortlisted for Consultant of the Year. Ujjwala joined ACA in January 2008, has over 17 years of technology industry experience, and has held roles including developer, senior developer, architect, team lead, delivery manager, and project manager.
In her current role, Ujjwala works as a Project Manager for one of ACA’s largest clients, where she handles 9-10 projects concurrently. Her responsibilities include managing project timelines, quality, and budget; performing requirements analysis for new features and initiatives; managing the successful delivery of projects; and conducting status updates, meetings, and demonstrations with the client’s CTO, C-level team, users, and investors.
